Bill Newton Dunn MEP welcomes ITV's "MyEurope" online service

Bill Newton Dunn, Liberal Democrat MEP, today welcomed strongly ITV's new online service "MyEurope", launched by the ITV chairman Michael Grade in the European Parliament in Brussels on 15th October.

The ITV's online service will provide the public with information and up-to-date news about the work of the six MEPs representing the East Midlands in the European Parliament in Brussels.

Speaking from Brussels, Bill Newton Dunn said: "The ITV's 'MyEurope' will offer a new and much needed link between the public and the MEPs. It will help to make our work and the EU more visible to them."

Asked why such an initiative had not been done before, ITV explained that it was the arrival of new technology on the internet that only made it possible to happen now.
